Industrial silencers
SGF designs and manufactures absorption-type industrial silencers for ventilation systems. SGF industrial silencers are carefully designed to reduce self-generated noise and pressure drops.
Absorptive industrial silencers: materials. The selection of sound-absorbing materials is based not only on the specific sound attenuation requirements but also on the physical and chemical characteristics of the fluid passing through the silencers.

Anechoic Chambers
SGF designs and manufactures anechoic and semi-anechoic test chambers, ideal for measuring acoustic parameters on various types of machines (appliances, electric motors, convectors, etc.). Our anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers achieve acoustic attenuations of up to 60 dB(A) through the use of double walls, anti-vibration bases, and 3-point closure doors with triple acoustic seals.

We operate in fields ranging from the paper and cardboard industry to hot and cold metal forging, from energy production and the external environment to food manufacturing and domestic situations. The following are just some of our products:
The structures of our acoustic cabins are made from suitable boxed profiles, consisting of independent uprights and crossbars, making them easy to handle. They are bolted together, dismountable and reassembleable using screws and threaded inserts.
For our soundproof cabins, we use panels weighing no more than 25 kg, whenever possible, especially those that need to be installed at heights greater than two meters. All the panels of our cabins are equipped with a projection-welded nut inside the upper thickness of the panel. This feature allows a lifting eye to be screwed into the nut for external lifting and positioning of the panel. The panels are screwed to the structure using screws and threaded inserts. Each panel is also fitted with a perimeter seal for acoustic sealing, already applied in our workshop.
The doors of the cabins can be:
All cabin doors must have a passage width depending on the intervention needs for machinery maintenance. Doors with a maximum surface area of 2 sqm are made from simple pressed-sheet metal, which is of course insulated with appropriate acoustic materials. Larger doors, to provide sturdiness, are equipped with profile frames to which threaded inserts and acoustic seals are applied. After the doors are mounted on the cabin, the panels are installed.

This preparation is carried out following a modular, numbered procedure documented by the acoustic cabin’s construction drawing, allowing for simple and easy assembly and maintenance. SGF has over 30 years’ experience of providing acoustic treatments for both indoor working environments and outdoor areas: the overall aim is to reduce noise to the lowest possible level to reduce worker’s exposure to noise and to reduce outdoor environmental noise so that it complies with current regulations.

SGF collaborates with companies, consultants and technicians working in the field of sound and acoustics to prepare and draught the Corporate Noise Exposure Reduction Plan, which is legally required under L. 81/08; the aim is to verify and avoid exceeding the upper noise limit, by carrying out noise on-site measurements, analysing the current situation and indicating the soundproofing measures available, while also providing quantitative analysis of the noise levels that may be achieved and quantifying the cost.
SGF collabora con aziende, consulenti e tecnici del suono e dell’acustica per la redazione e la stesura del Piano Aziendale di Riduzione dell’Esposizione, obbligatorio ai sensi della legge 81/08; l’obiettivo è verificare ed evitare il superamento del limite di azione superiore del rumore, effettuando rilievi acustici direttamente in loco, analizzando la situazione esistente e indicando gli interventi di insonorizzazione realizzabili, fornendo analisi quantitative sui risultati acustici ottenibili con il progetto di intervento e quantificandone i costi.
